Historical Structures of San Diego

I chose to celebrate the beautiful historical architecture of San Diego. I chose to photograph buildings of some significance. Mieras and Cabrillo Hall are buildings now used for the Point Loma Nazarene University that were once used by the Theosophical Society, and I also took a picture of the lighthouse at Cabrillo Point. All of these buildings are important to our history and are beautifully structured. The project was pretty fun, but my pictures turned out a little darker than I had hoped for. I'm glad I had the chance to do an editorial project to showcase a topic of my choice.

I photoshopped a picture of Obama's face onto a picture of plants and flowers on a sunny day, and brightened the lighting and colors to represent the hope and optimism that Barack Obama stands for. I tried to play up the sunshine to help convey those concepts. The picture I used was uncredited.
