I loved this project. I picked a vintage French singer so I could do a photo shoot with a vintage theme. I dressed my model in a beret and dark 40s style traveling dress. I did the photo shoot at Liberty station fairly early in the morning to get good lighting, and made sure the dress was dark to create more contrast in the pictures. I tried to keep everything black and white, such as the checked umbrella. I loved how my pictures turned out, especially the one where I used a shot framed by tall palm trees. They gave the picture a symmetrical, balanced effect. The hardest part of the project was learning to use photoshop to put the photos together in a CD cover, but I was happy when I finally figured it out and created an album cover that evoked the 40s style I was trying to capture. The title means "No, I do not regret anything", and I picked it because it is one of Edith Piaf's songs that I feel evokes some of her spirit and character.
