Reflection on Portrait Project

I enjoyed this project as my introduction to photography because it gave me experience with a more professional camera and showed me how to use basic tools such as lighting and a solid background. I loved creating dramatic lighting and different moods with various poses, and I noticed that the lighting really could "make or break" the photo. My favorite part of the entire process was printing, and watching the photos I chose to print fade into view on the paper. I was happy with both of my pictures and I like the contrast between them, since one is serious and one is very happy. I woulnd't have changed a thing about the pictures I chose to print or the process of my project. It was fun, great for some basic photo experience, and helped prepare me for the second, more elaborate project.
